Introduction
During my tenure at BlackBlue Media Group, I served as the Lead Designer handling Social Media for Systema Lion, one of Japan’s premier oral care companies known for its high-quality dental products. This role allowed me to combine my creative expertise with strategic planning to elevate the brand’s presence and engagement on social media platforms.
Content Creation and Collaboration
My responsibilities involved collaborating closely with account executives to develop a comprehensive content calendar and create compelling visuals for weekly posts. These posts included a variety of content types, such as product promotions, contests, dental care tips, and festive celebrations. By maintaining a consistent posting schedule and diversifying the content, we were able to keep the audience engaged and build a loyal following.
Working with Influencers
Elvis Ng, a renowned actor and former model from Singapore, serves as the brand ambassador for Systema Lion. To launch the new Super Smile series for kids, we had the honour of working with three kid influencers to boost awareness. This project provided me with valuable experience in working with artists, including understanding copyright regulations and best practices. Collaborating with influencers and managing their content was crucial in reaching a younger demographic and enhancing brand visibility.
Product Photography and Promotion
For promoting the travel kit, I photographed the products and arranged them into advertisements, placing them on luggage or inside travel zip-lock bags to convey the concept of travel while maintaining a lifestyle aesthetic. These visuals were designed to resonate with frequent travellers, highlighting the convenience and practicality of Systema Lion’s travel-friendly products.
Leveraging Popular Trends
During that period, “Travel Frog” and the Avengers movie were extremely popular. I leveraged these trends to create engaging visuals for Systema Lion, enhancing the brand’s relevance and appeal. By incorporating popular culture references and trending themes, we were able to capture the audience’s attention and increase engagement.
